About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and organized Assistant Kitchen Manager to support the Kitchen Manager in overseeing daily kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will ensure food quality, maintain hygiene standards, manage kitchen staff, and help achieve operational efficiency while delivering an excellent dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in managing day-to-day kitchen operations.
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff during shifts.
- Ensure food is prepared and served according to quality and presentation standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ordering of kitchen supplies.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards as per company policies.
- Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing attendance.
- Support training and development of kitchen team members.
- Monitor food costs,



minimize wastage, and improve kitchen efficiency.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and report maintenance issues.
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff for smooth service operations.

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Inventory and stock management knowledge.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills for inventory and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in restaurants, hotels, cafés, or cloud kitchens.
- Certification in Food Safety or HACCP is an advantage.
