Position Overview

Idyaite Technology Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Senior Shopify Developer with 5+ years of hands-on Shopify development experience to design, develop, customize, maintain, and optimize Shopify and Shopify Plus e-commerce stores. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in custom Shopify development, API integrations, performance optimization, and scalable e-commerce solutions, while working directly with U.S.-based clients and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, customize, and maintain Shopify and Shopify Plus e-commerce websites.
- Build custom Shopify themes, storefront features, and reusable components using Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and Shopify Online Store 2.0.
- Develop custom functionality using Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, GraphQL, REST APIs, AJAX API, Metafields, Metaobjects, Shopify Functions, and Theme/App Extensions.
- Integrate third-party applications, payment gateways, ERP/CRM systems, and configure checkout, shipping, tax, subscriptions, and multi-market functionality.
- Perform testing, deployment, website migrations, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance.
- Work directly with U.S.-based clients to gather business requirements,



provide technical recommendations, communicate project updates, and deliver high-performing Shopify solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing e-commerce solutions.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

- 5+ years of professional Shopify development experience (Mandatory).
- Solid expertise in Shopify Liquid, Shopify Plus, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), Shopify Online Store 2.0, and responsive web development.
- Hands-on experience with Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, GraphQL, REST APIs, AJAX API, and third-party API integrations.
- Experience with Checkout Extensibility, Shopify Functions, Metafields, Metaobjects, and custom Shopify app development.
- Experience with Git, Shopify CLI, Core Web Vitals, performance optimization, Technical SEO, and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO).
- Familiarity with React.js, Next.js, Node.js/Hydrogen, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager (GTM), and Klaviyo is an advantage.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Native-level English proficiency (English as a first language preferred) – Mandatory.




- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with the ability to confidently interact with U.S.-based clients.
- Proven ability to gather business requirements, lead client discussions, provide project updates, and collaborate with international stakeholders.

Additional Requirements

- Comfortable working as both a Senior Shopify Developer and a client-facing Technical Consultant for U.S.-based clients.
- Mandatory overlap with U.S. client working hours (8:00 PM – 12:00 AM IST, Monday to Friday).
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office/workspace.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication is mandatory.
- Ability to deliver high-quality work with quick turnaround times.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
