Job Summary

Rockwoods International School, Wanaparthy, is looking for a passionate and dedicated General Science Teacher who can effectively teach Biology, Physics, and Chemistry for Grades 6 to 10. The ideal candidate should possess solid subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire students through interactive and practical science learning.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Biology, Physics, and Chemistry to middle and high school students.
- Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum.
- Conduct laboratory experiments while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Assess student performance through assignments, tests, projects, and practical evaluations.
- Foster scientific thinking, inquiry-based learning, and problem-solving skills.
- Integrate digital tools and activity-based teaching methods into classroom instruction.
- Prepare students for examinations, science fairs, Olympiads, and other academic competitions.
- Maintain student records, attendance, and academic progress reports.
- Collaborate with parents, coordinators, and fellow teachers to support student development.
- Participate actively in school events, faculty meetings, workshops, and professional development programs.

Required Qualifications

- B.Sc. in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, or General Science.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- M.Sc.



in any Science specialization is preferred.
- Fresher or Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE/ICSE/State Board school.
- Freshers with excellent subject knowledge and communication skills may also apply.

- Strong command of Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
- Effective classroom management abilities.
- Hands-on experience in conducting science practicals.
- Proficiency in smart classroom technology and digital teaching tools.

- Work Location: Wanaparthy, Telangana.
- Local candidates from Wanaparthy and nearby areas will be given preference.
- Candidates capable of teaching all three science subjects will be highly preferred.
