ABOUT SMAPIT MEDIA

Smapit Media is a 3D visualization and AI animation studio working at the intersection of
technology and creative craft. We partner with D2C and e-commerce brands to produce
photorealistic product renders, CGI films, and AI-powered marketing content that moves at
the speed of modern commerce. Our work spans India and the GCC region, and we hold the
bar high on everything we ship.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a 3D Animator who understands that great animation is not just about
movement. It is about weight, intention, and the split-second decisions that make a product
feel alive on screen. You will work across product animations, brand films, and digital ads,
collaborating closely with our modelers, lighters, and creative directors to produce work that genuinely stands out.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Animate 3D models, assemblies, and environments with attention to timing, weight, and physical believability.
- Work from storyboards and briefs to translate creative direction into polished, finished motion.
- Collaborate across disciplines including modeling, lighting, VFX, and compositing to deliver seamless shots.
- Incorporate feedback from creative and technical reviewers and iterate with speed and precision.




- Explore and integrate AI-assisted animation workflows where they add genuine value to the pipeline.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- 2–4 years of professional experience in 3D animation for products, advertising, or branded content.
- Strong working knowledge of Blender, with solid command of its graph editor, NLA editor, and constraints system.
- Proficiency in one or more of: Cinema 4D, Houdini (procedural animation, simulations), or Adobe After Effects.
- A explicit sense of timing, easing, and the physical principles that make motion feel honest.
- Strong visual instincts and an eye for storytelling through movement.
- A portfolio or showreel demonstrating your range and craft. Required with application.

GOOD TO HAVE

- Experience with Houdini simulations: cloth, fluids, or rigid body dynamics.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted animation or motion tools.
- Background in product or e-commerce content production
