Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager – Quality Control (AGM - QC) to lead and manage all Quality Control operations in a regulated manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of analytical testing, laboratory management, regulatory compliance, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee the Quality Control department.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, ISO, FSSAI, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Manage chemical, instrumental, and microbiological testing activities.
- Review and approve laboratory reports, SOPs, specifications, and validation documents.
- Drive investigations related to OOS, OOT, deviations, and CAPA.
- Ensure calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments.
- Coordinate with QA, Production, Regulatory Affairs, and R&D; teams.
- Lead internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.
- Develop, mentor,



and manage the QC team while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

- Education: M.Sc. (Chemistry/Microbiology/Food Science) or equivalent.
- Experience: 12–18 years in Quality Control within the Food, Nutraceutical, Pharmaceutical, or Chemical industry.
- Strong knowledge of HPLC, GC, ICP, UV, FTIR, and other analytical instruments.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
