Job Description: Electrician – Waste Management Project (Thrissur)

Position: Electrician
Location: Thrissur, Kerala
Reporting to: Project/Site Supervisor

Role Summary:
Responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment at the waste management/biogas plant site, ensuring safe and uninterrupted operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, inspect, and maintain electrical panels, wiring, motors, and control systems at the plant
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in machinery (conveyors, pumps, blowers, generators, etc.)
- Carry out routine preventive maintenance as per schedule
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and site safety protocols
- Coordinate with plant operators and maintenance team for smooth plant functioning




- Maintain records of maintenance work, spare parts usage, and equipment condition
- Respond promptly to breakdowns/emergencies to minimize downtime

Requirements:

- ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 1–2 years' experience in industrial/plant electrical maintenance (waste management, biogas, or manufacturing preferred)
- Valid electrician license/wireman certificate
- Knowledge of LT panels, motors, and control wiring
- Willingness to work in office in Thrissur

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
