Job Title: Accounts Executive

Location: Nerul, Navi Mumbai

Job Summary:

The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining inventory records, handling procurement, and ensuring timely and accurate processing of bills and payments. The role requires strong organizational skills and coordination with the finance and procurement teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts & Finance:

- Maintaining petty cash and daily accounts.
- Preparing vouchers and coordinating with the finance team for accounting entries.
- Sending vouchers with all relevant approved supporting documents to accounts for record and audit purposes.
- Verifying bills and obtaining authorization from senior staff before forwarding for payment.
- Forwarding verified bills to the accounts department for timely payment.
- Maintaining Books – Cash Book, Challan Book.
- Following up for payments and sending payment reminders to vendors.
- Issuing and maintaining donation receipts.

Procurement & Purchase:

- Placing purchase orders as per organizational requirements.
- Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods and associated bills.
- Coordinating with vendors for quotations, deliveries, and payment-related queries.
- Ordering regular consumables such as vegetables, groceries, toiletries, stationery, fruits and chicken.

Inventory & Record Management:

- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all inventory transactions.
- Updating and managing data in inventory and other registers regularly.
- Maintaining various registers including:
- Stationery Register, Toiletry Register, Inward-Outward Register, Storage Register, Milk Record Register, Vendor Sheet,



Fixed Asset Register

Coordination & Reporting:

- Coordinating with internal departments and the finance team for smooth processing of accounts and inventory activities.
- Ensuring all records and documents are well-organized and audit-ready

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in accounts, procurement, or inventory management.
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
- Good time management and organizational abilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- Experience: 2–4 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.

Technical Skills:

- Knowledge of Tally ERP (hands-on usage not required initially).
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic MS Office applications.
- Understanding of budgeting, accounting principles, and reconciliation processes.

Other Skills:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and multitask effectively.
- Eagerness to learn and take on additional financial responsibilities over time

Preferred Qualifications:

- Prior experience in handling basic accounting, billing, or finance support roles.
- Exposure to statutory compliance such as GST, TDS, or PF is an advantage.
- Experience working in NGOs or similar organizations will be preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
