Design Head – Interior Design

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and creative Design Head to lead our Interior Design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the complete design process, mentoring designers, ensuring high-quality project delivery, and maintaining design excellence across residential and commercial projects.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign Leadership

- Lead and manage the Interior Design team.
- Develop creative design concepts aligned with client requirements.
- Review and approve layouts, mood boards, presentations, drawings, and material selections.
- Ensure all projects meet the company's design standards and quality expectations.

Project Management

- Oversee multiple projects from concept to handover.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Execution Team, Procurement, and Vendors.
- Monitor project progress and resolve design-related challenges.

Client Management

- Meet clients to understand project requirements and expectations.
- Present design concepts confidently and secure client approvals.
- Build and maintain robust client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Handle client escalations related to design.

Team Management

- Lead, mentor, and train Interior Designers and Junior Designers.
- Allocate projects and monitor team performance.
- Conduct regular design reviews and performance evaluations.
- Encourage innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Quality & Process Improvement

- Ensure accuracy of design drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
- Standardize design processes, templates,



and documentation.
- Introduce new materials, technologies, and design trends.
- Maintain compliance with company SOPs and quality standards.

Business Support

- Work closely with the Sales team during client presentations.
- Support business development by providing innovative design solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and market developments.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Master's Degree is an added advantage.

Experience

- 8–12 years of experience in Interior Design.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience leading a design team.
- Experience in luxury residential and commercial interior projects is preferred.

- AutoCAD
- SketchUp
- 3ds Max
- V-Ray / Enscape
- Adobe Photoshop
- Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of BOQ preparation and material specifications

Compensation

Salary will be based on experience, qualifications, and interview performance.

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
