Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and result-oriented Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations at our Ayurveda manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning production activities, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards, optimizing resources, and maintaining production efficiency while complying with GMP and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and organize daily production schedules based on customer demand, production targets, and available resources.
- Monitor all stages of the manufacturing process to ensure smooth, efficient, and uninterrupted operations.
- Supervise production staff and coordinate with the maintenance team to resolve equipment-related issues promptly.
- Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure products meet company and regulatory quality standards.
- Monitor raw material, packaging material, and finished goods inventory to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Coordinate routine preventive maintenance and repairs of production equipment to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), production logs, and other production documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and regulatory guidelines.
- Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies, hygiene standards, and workplace discipline.
- Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance (QA),



Quality Control (QC), Stores, Procurement, and Maintenance departments for seamless production operations.
- Conduct daily production area cleaning observations and ensure housekeeping standards are consistently maintained.
- Participate in and contribute to weekly and monthly production review meetings with management.
- Maintain complete and accurate production records to support regulatory inspections and internal audits.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly production performance reports to management.
- Develop production plans for the upcoming week and make necessary schedule adjustments to meet business requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, productivity enhancement, and waste reduction.
