Qualifications:

- Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing / GNM
- Certification in Infection Prevention and Control or equivalent

Experience:

- Minimum 2–5 years of clinical nursing experience

Job Description:

- Conduct surveillance of HAIs including CAUTI, CLABSI, VAP and SSI.
- Collect, analyze, and maintain infection surveillance data.
- Identify infection trends and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare monthly infection control reports and dashboards.
- Implement infection prevention and control policies and procedures throughout the hospital.
- Monitor compliance with hand hygiene, PPE usage and isolation precautions.
- Conduct infection control rounds and audits.
- Participate in outbreak investigations and containment activities.
- Conduct staff training programmes on infection prevention and control.
- Assist in development and review of infection control policies and SOPs.
- Maintain surveillance, audit and compliance records.
- Any other work/responsibility assigned by the HOD/Management in the course of business/work whether within the same unit/dept or any other unit/dept from time to time
