The Tamarind is a 30-room boutique heritage hotel in Anjuna, North Goa. With a turquoise pool, in-house restaurant, bar, and garden event spaces, we're known for personalised, high-touch hospitality — and that starts with how we treat our own team.

The Role

We're hiring an HR manager to be based full-time at the property. You'll own the people function end-to-end for a close-knit team – recruitment, onboarding, staff welfare, attendance and payroll coordination, compliance, and day-to-day HR operations for a live-in hospitality workforce.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end recruitment for hotel staff (F&B;, housekeeping, front office, maintenance, etc.)
- Handle onboarding, induction, and documentation for new joiners
- Maintain attendance and leave records, and coordinate with accounts for payroll processing
- Oversee staff accommodation, welfare, and grievance handling
- Ensure compliance with labour laws applicable to Goa hospitality establishments (Shops & Establishments Act, PF/ESI where applicable, etc.)
- Support performance reviews, staff training coordination,



and disciplinary processes
- Maintain HR records and generate reports for management
- Foster a positive, professional work culture on-property

Requirements

- Minimum 3–4 years of HR experience, preferably in hotels/hospitality (Likely — adjust to your actual minimum; not specified in your brief)
- Working knowledge of labour law compliance and payroll basics
- Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills
- Comfortable working and living on-site at a boutique property
- Proficiency in MS Office / basic HR software
- Fluency in English and Hindi; Konkani/Marathi a plus
