BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

6+ years of overall professional experience in software or machine learning engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
- 2+ years of relevant, hands-on experience with Generative AI, including:
- Building, optimizing, and deploying RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines.
- In-depth experience with agentic frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex).
- Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Qdrant, pgvector).

- Expert-level proficiency in Python and object-oriented design.




- Demonstrated experience with core AWS services for compute and deployment (e.g., EKS, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway).
- Strong understanding of API development (REST) and building microservices.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Deep, hands-on experience with the AWS AI/ML stack: Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Kendra, and Amazon Textract.
- Proven track record of building and deploying complex, multi-step AI orchestrations (agentic planners) that call multiple tools and external APIs.
- Experience in building custom AI/ML "skills" or models to handle domain-specific data analysis.
- Hands-on experience with MLOps and cloud infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, AWS Secrets Manager, and Amazon CloudWatch.
- Familiarity with integrating AI systems with enterprise platforms (e.g., NetSuite, or similar).
- Experience working in an agile workplace to deliver high-quality code and rapidly iterate on new, high-impact products.
