Job Summary

HLFPPT is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Digital Literacy Trainer to deliver high-quality digital literacy training to diverse groups of learners. The trainer will empower participants with essential digital skills, enabling them to confidently use computers, smartphones, internet services, digital payment platforms, and online government services.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct classroom and practical training sessions on digital literacy.
- Train participants in basic computer operations, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), internet usage, email, and online communication tools.
- Teach the use of smartphones, digital payment applications (UPI, BHIM, mobile banking), and online government services.
- Promote cyber safety, online privacy, and awareness of digital frauds and cyber threats.
- Prepare lesson plans, training materials, presentations, and practical assignments.
- Assess participants through practical and theoretical evaluations.
- Maintain attendance, assessment records, and training reports.
- Provide individual support to learners requiring additional assistance.
- Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of computers and training equipment.




- Coordinate with the project team to achieve training targets and timelines.

Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or any relevant discipline.
- Diploma or certification in Computer Applications/Digital Literacy will be an added advantage.

Experience

- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in computer or digital literacy training.
- Experience working with NGOs, educational institutions, or government skill development projects is preferred.

Skills Required

- Excellent computer proficiency and internet knowledge.
- Good command of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to simplify technical concepts for learners with different educational backgrounds.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for computer systems.
- Good organizational and documentation skills.
- Fluency in Malayalam and English is preferred.
