Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Quality Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in a precision machining environment. The candidate should have solid knowledge of quality inspection, engineering drawings, documentation, and quality systems. Experience in maintaining quality records and documentation is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform first-off, in-process, and final inspection of machined components.

· Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and customer specifications.

· Use precision measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, Dial Indicator, and Depth Gauge.

· Prepare and maintain quality documents including inspection reports, FAI reports, CAPA, NCR, and customer documentation.

· Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System procedures.

· Conduct visual and dimensional inspection of HMC/VMC machined components.

· Coordinate with Production to resolve quality issues and reduce rejection.

· Support root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

· Maintain calibration records of measuring instruments.

· Assist during internal, customer,



and external quality audits.

· Handle customer quality documentation and ensure timely submission.

· Monitor process quality and suggest continuous improvement activities.

Required Skills

· Experience in HMC/VMC machining quality.

· Strong documentation skills (Mandatory).

· Knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T.;

· Hands-on experience with measuring instruments.

· Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality documentation.

· Good communication and problem-solving skills.

· Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.

Preferred Knowledge

· Quality inspection techniques for /HMC/VMC machined components.

· Root Cause Analysis (5 Why, Fishbone Diagram).

· CAPA, NCR, and inspection documentation.

· Basic understanding of machining processes and tolerances.

Eligibility

· Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

· 1–2 years of experience in a Quality Department of a HMC/VMC machine shop.

· Immediate joiners will be preferred.
