Job Description

Job Purpose:

To manage the collections for the MSME Secured Loan portfolio and achieve the delinquency & NPA targets, within the budgeted costs and ensuring Code of conduct and regulatory compliance. To drive the teams in the regions, build the collections infrastructure.

Principal Accountabilities:

1. MSME collections

§ To achieve the delinquency and NPA targets

§ Monitor and review delinquent accounts effectively.

§ Focus on operational efficiencies and deliver on cost targets

§ Analyze portfolio behavior & taking proactive measures

§ Monitor overall performance with respective Collection KPIs and scorecard metrices

§ Build strategies using collection analytics to improve the resolutions and bring down the cost of collections

§ Track the resolutions/flow rates/product of flows and provide information to management through reports

§ To achieve the bounce charges collections target

§ Initiate legal where it is required

2. Team Management

§ Capacity Planning

§ Evaluate/ Review & recommend agency empanelment

§ Set up of BKT-wise, manager-wise & agency-wise daily, weekly & monthly targets

§ Ensure training programs for new joiners & internal debt training programs for collection managers & external vendors.





§ Ensure that the agency bills are raised in a timely manner and without discrepancies.

§ Evaluate the portfolio quality basis the collections feedback and provide inputs to the policy team on an ongoing basis for corrective measures

§ Drive the teams in the regions/ External Call centers and 20 plus field agencies

- Stakeholder Management

- Systematically identifying and analyzing the expectations, planning, and implementing various tasks to engage with them.

- 4. Escalation Management

Ensure customer satisfaction in the entire collections process and closure of all escalations in a timely manner

MBA (Finance)

b) Work Experience

- 18 plus years of experience across banks and NBFCs

- Experience across products in the consumer lending space

- Cross Functional Experience

- Team Management

- Analytical Skills

- Strategic mindset

- Analytical and Logical thinking.

- In-depth knowledge of Collection function

- - Relationship Management through effective communication.
