Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Pre-Operation Preparation:
- Prepares the operating room, ensuring all equipment, consumables, and surgical trays are fully sterilized
- Scrubs, gowns, and gloves using strict sterile techniques .
- Greets the patient, validates consent, checks NPO status, and provides emotional reassurance
- Intra-Operation Assistance:
- Acts as the primary bridge between sterile and non-sterile fields Surgical Scrub Nurse: Nursing Specialties Breakdown.
- Passes instruments, sutures, and supplies to the surgeon Scrub Nurse
- Performs critical baseline and closing counts of sponges, needles, and instruments alongside the circulating nurse
- Post-Operation Duties:

- Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Must hold a GNM, B.Sc. Nursing, or P.B. B.Sc. Nursing degree
- Registration: Valid registration with the Odisha State Nursing Council
- Experience: Previous experience in an operating theatre, surgical ward, or emergency unit is highly preferred

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
