Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Agricultural Research Assistant to support field research, crop monitoring, and farm operations. The successful candidate will assist with collecting agricultural data, monitoring plant health, maintaining research plots, recording field observations, and preparing reports. This role is ideal for candidates with a B.Sc. in Agriculture who enjoy working both in the field and with research data.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct regular field visits to monitor crop growth and plant health.
- Collect and record data on crop performance, soil conditions, irrigation, pests, and diseases.
- Maintain accurate field records and research documentation.
- Assist in planning and implementing agricultural research trials.
- Support farm operations, including planting, harvesting, and crop maintenance when required.
- Monitor fertilizer and pesticide application according to research protocols.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly field status reports.




- Assist senior researchers and agronomists in data analysis and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in Agriculture or a related field.
- Fresh graduates and candidates with 2–3 years of experience are welcome to apply.
- Basic knowledge of crop production, soil science, and plant protection.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and basic data entry.
- Strong observation, communication, and record-keeping skills.
- Willingness to travel to farms and work outdoors.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in field trials or agricultural research.
- Knowledge of up-to-date farming practices and precision agriculture tools.
- Ability to identify common crop pests and diseases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
