Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Edge Banding Machine Operator to join our modular furniture manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining edge banding machines, ensuring high-quality finishing of furniture components, and meeting production targets while adhering to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate automatic and semi-automatic edge banding machines.
- Set up machine parameters according to board thickness, edge tape specifications, and production requirements.
- Apply PVC, ABS, Acrylic, and Veneer edge bands accurately.
- Monitor glue application, trimming, buffing, and finishing quality.
- Ensure smooth, chip-free, and seamless edge finishing.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Inspect finished panels for quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Minimize material wastage and machine downtime.
- Coordinate with Production, QC,



and Assembly teams.
- Maintain daily production and maintenance records.
- Follow workplace safety and housekeeping standards.

Requirements

- Minimum 6+ years of experience in edge banding operations within the modular furniture or interior manufacturing industry.
- Hands-on experience with automatic edge banding machines.
- Knowledge of PVC, ABS, Acrylic, Laminate, and Veneer finishing.
- Ability to identify and rectify edge banding defects.
- Understanding of production drawings and furniture manufacturing processes.
- Strong attention to quality and detail.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Homag, Biesse, IMA, SCM, or similar edge banding machines.
- Basic machine troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of furniture manufacturing workflows.
