Role Overview

We are hiring an ArchiCAD Designer with prior experience on US-based projects. You will work on a variety of project types producing architectural documentation, BIM models, coordinated drawing sets, and 3D visualizations in direct support of US architects, designers, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and manage ArchiCAD BIM models across all project phases - from schematic design through construction documents
- Produce complete drawing sets including floor plans, elevations, sections, wall sections, RCPs, roof plans, and site plans
- Create detailed interior and exterior elevations, millwork drawings, and building details
- Develop 3D models and renderings for client presentations and design review
- Coordinate with structural, civil, and MEP consultants using IFC export and model-sharing workflows
- Perform clash detection and inter-discipline coordination reviews
- Maintain drawing standards, layer naming conventions, title blocks, and file organization protocols
- Generate schedules - door, window, room finish, material, and equipment schedules




- Issue drawing revisions and respond to contractor RFIs with timely, accurate documentation
- Assist in permit submission preparation in compliance with applicable US building codes and local jurisdiction requirements
- Collaborate with US-based project managers and design leads via remote communication tools

Mandatory Requirements

- B.Arch or equivalent degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology
- Minimum 2 years of experience on US-based projects using ArchiCAD
- Advanced proficiency in ArchiCAD (BIM workflow, Object/GDL Library, IFC coordination, Layout Book)
- Strong working knowledge of US construction drawing standards and building codes (IBC, IRC as applicable)
- Experience producing permit-ready documentation for US jurisdictions
- Familiarity with at least one US project type: residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, retail, or industrial
- Strong English communication skills - written and verbal
- Must have own laptop, reliable internet, and be available 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM IST

Preferred / Bonus Skills

- Experience with ArchiCAD rendering tools - CineRender, Twinmotion, Lumion, or BIMx for client presentations
- Proficiency in IFC-based MEP coordination and Navisworks/Solibri clash review
- Cross-sector project experience (e.g., both residential and commercial)




- Familiarity with US permit submission workflows across multiple states or jurisdictions
- Working knowledge of complementary tools: SketchUp, Rhino, AutoCAD, Adobe suite
- Experience with ArchiCAD Teamwork (BIMcloud) for multi-user project environments
