Instrumentation Engineer – O&M; | Biofics Private Limited, Surat
Biofics Private Limited is a Surat-based waste-to-energy company specializing in Bio-CNG, biogas plants, and organic waste composting, serving clients like ONGC, Adani Group, and the Indian Army.
We're hiring an Instrumentation Engineer for our O&M; team to install, calibrate, and maintain field instruments (flow meters, pressure transmitters, gas analyzers, PLC/SCADA systems) across our biogas and Bio-CNG plants, ensuring safe and uninterrupted plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate, and maintain field instruments (flow meters, pressure transmitters, gas analyzers, level/temperature sensors)
- Monitor and troubleshoot PLC/SCADA and control panel systems
- Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance as per O&M; schedule
- Coordinate with process/mechanical teams to resolve instrumentation issues
- Maintain calibration and maintenance records
- Ensure compliance with plant safety standards
- Support commissioning of new instrumentation for upcoming projects
- Prepare and share periodic O&M; reports
Requirements: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Instrumentation or related field, 1–4 years' experience (biogas/process plant experience preferred), working knowledge of PLC/SCADA/field instruments, willingness to work at plant sites.
