Warehouse Assistant Manager

Role Definition

The Warehouse Asst. Manager is responsible for overseeing the complete operations of the electrical goods warehouse, including inventory management, stock movement, manpower supervision, safety compliance, and timely order fulfillment. The role ensures smooth supply chain flow and supports business growth by maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and accountability in warehouse operations.

Key Deliverables

- Warehouse Operations
- Supervise daily activities including receiving, stacking, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Implement systematic storage for electrical goods (switches, sockets, cables, MCBs, lights, fans, DBs, etc.).
- Ensure barcode/labelling of stock for easy identification and traceability.
- Follow FIFO/LIFO to avoid dead stock and product damages.
- Coordinate dispatches to outlets/customers on time with proper documentation.
- Inventory Control & Stock Accuracy
- Maintain accurate stock records in ERP/stock registers.

Conduct cycle counts, stock audits, and reconciliation between physical and system stock.





- Monitor inventory levels and plan replenishment with procurement/supply chain teams.
- Control shrinkage, pilferage, and wastage by enforcing strong checks.
- Prepare buffer stock for peak demand periods to avoid shortages.
- Manpower & Team Management
- Supervise warehouse staff, helpers, and material handlers.
- Assign daily tasks and monitor productivity of the workforce.
- Train staff on protected handling of electrical goods and warehouse SOPs.
- Build accountability and teamwork for smooth warehouse operations.
- Compliance, Safety & Reporting
- Ensure warehouse safety, cleanliness, and security at all times.
- Implement fire safety, material handling safety, and emergency protocols.
- Maintain compliance with audit requirements and company SOPs.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports on stock movement, dispatch, and shortages.
- Coordinate with management, procurement, and sales teams for operational efficiency.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
