Job Description

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using the Laravel framework.
- Build scalable RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services to support logistics and warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, frontend developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Optimize application performance, database queries, and server-side processes for speed and scalability.
- Develop and maintain secure authentication, authorization, and role-based access control features.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues while ensuring minimal downtime.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile development processes.
- Manage database design, migrations, and performance optimization using MySQL or similar databases.
- Ensure the security of applications, uphold data integrity, and maintain compliance with organizational development policies and standards.
- Support deployment, version control, and continuous improvement of existing applications.

Qualifications

Required skills & Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Laravel and PHP development, preferably in enterprise applications or logistics technology.
- Certifications (Preferred):



Laravel Certification, PHP Development Certification, AWS/Azure Fundamentals, or other relevant software development certifications.

Skills

- Strong proficiency in PHP, Laravel, and object-oriented programming
- Experience with RESTful API development and third-party API integrations
- Good knowledge of MySQL, database design, and query optimization
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frontend frameworks
- Proficiency in Git and version control systems
Understanding of MVC architecture and software design principles
- Knowledge of web security practices and application performance optimization
- Robust debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work in Agile development environments and manage multiple priorities

This is a full-time, on-site role based at AWL India's Delhi office within the IT department. Developers will work closely with cross-functional teams to build innovative digital solutions that strengthen logistics and supply chain operations.
