About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Tourism Trainer to deliver vocational training to students of Classes 9 to 12. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of the tourism and hospitality industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prepare students with practical knowledge and employability skills for careers in the tourism sector.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging and interactive tourism training sessions for students of Classes 9–12.
- Teach the fundamentals of the tourism and hospitality industry, including travel services, customer service, tour operations, and destination knowledge.
- Prepare lesson plans, presentations, practical activities, assignments, and assessments aligned with the curriculum.
- Conduct role plays, case studies, group discussions, and project-based learning activities to enhance students' practical understanding.
- Develop students' communication, interpersonal, customer service, and professional etiquette skills.
- Guide students on career opportunities in tourism, hospitality, airlines, travel agencies, and related industries.
- Evaluate student performance through practical assessments, assignments, and regular feedback.
- Maintain student attendance, assessment records, progress reports, and other training documentation.
- Coordinate with school authorities and the project team for smooth implementation of training sessions.
- Organize educational tours, industry visits, guest lectures, and career guidance sessions whenever required.
- Ensure classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.

Eligibility Criteria

- Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Travel & Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field.
- Diploma or certification in Tourism or Hospitality will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in tourism, hospitality, travel operations, or vocational training.
- Experience teaching school students or delivering skill development programs will be preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Preferred Skills

- Strong knowledge of the tourism and hospitality industry.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage students through practical and activity-based learning.
- Good organizational, reporting, and documentation skills.
- Experience working with schools, NGOs, or skill development projects.
- Willingness to travel to assigned schools, if required.
