Job Purpose
Acquisition, enhancement, and retention of customers by providing exceptional services and acting as the dedicated point of contact for Agri sector customers.
Key Responsibilities
Sourcing and Business Generation
Identify and scope geographical markets for farming and rural communities.
Source proposals from farmers, co-operatives, and rural markets.
Conduct marketing activities to generate new business.
Market Update and Change in Product / Processes
Stay updated on market requirements, competition, and customer behavior.
Propose amendments to product offerings based on market dynamics.
Monitor changes in State Government laws and policies.
Relationship Building and Maintenance
Liaise with current and existing customers to build relationships.
Engage with agro centers, rural mandis, and Kisan clubs to deepen relationships.
Address customer complaints within stipulated timelines.
Delinquency / Rotation & Recovery / Housekeeping
Minimize portfolio delinquency through proactive follow-ups.
Monitor account rotation and ensure timely submission of documents.
Support legal and remedial teams in recovery and legal actions.
Farmer Education and Capacity Building
Conduct village-level meetings to educate farmers on banking products.
Inform farmers about tools, technology, and subsidies to improve production.
Raise awareness about debt waivers and crop insurance.
Increased Penetration and Cross Sell
Promote cross-selling of asset and liability products.
Encourage adoption of digital platforms like NetBanking and Mobile Banking.
Training and Development of SO/HBL
Train and groom sales resources to enhance customer relationship skills.
Monitor performance and provide counseling for improved delivery.
Relationship with Retail Branches and Other Stakeholders
Coordinate with Credit for timely proposal decisions.
Work with remedial teams on NPA recovery.
Liaise with RBB team to activate branches for KGC business.
Education:
Graduate or equivalent in a relevant field.
