Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will assist in designing electrical control panels, preparing electrical schematics, selecting components, and supporting automation projects from design through commissioning.

This role is ideal for candidates looking to build a career in industrial automation and electrical system design.

Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Design

- Prepare electrical schematics and wiring diagrams using EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar software.
- Design electrical control panels for industrial automation systems.
- Prepare terminal layouts, cable schedules, and panel layouts.
- Assist in preparing Bill of Materials (BOM) for projects.

Component Selection

- Select electrical components including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, relays, MCBs, MCCBs, contactors, power supplies, sensors, and field devices.
- Ensure component selection complies with project specifications and industry standards.

Documentation

- Prepare electrical documentation, panel drawings, and project documentation.
- Maintain revision records and design files.
- Support preparation of operation manuals and technical documentation.





Project Support

- Coordinate with Mechanical Design, PLC Programming, and Production teams.
- Assist during panel assembly, testing, and commissioning.
- Resolve design-related issues during manufacturing and installation.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of electrical control systems.
- Ability to read and prepare electrical drawings.
- Understanding of industrial electrical components.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.

Preferred Technical Knowledge

- AutoCAD Electrical / EPLAN (preferred)
- PLC hardware fundamentals
- Electrical Panels & Control Circuits
- Motor Starters & Protection Devices
- VFD Basics
- Industrial Sensors & Field Devices
- Electrical Safety Standards

Qualifications

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in Electrical Design, Panel Design, or Industrial Automation.
- Freshers with solid academic knowledge and CAD skills are encouraged to apply.
