Location: Hyderabad

Desired Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in automation testing, with at least 3 years in a team handling role

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Lead - Automation to join our team at Acads360. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of relevant experience in automation testing, with at least 3 years of experience in team handling. Exposure to a SaaS-based environment is mandatory, and relevant certifications will be considered a plus. The QA Lead - Automation will be responsible for leading the QA automation team, ensuring the quality of our software products, and implementing best practices in automation testing.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor the QA automation team, providing guidance and support to team members.
- Design, develop, and execute automation test strategies and plans to ensure product quality
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts, frameworks, and tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and customer support, to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software
- Monitor and report on test automation progress, results, and metrics
- Identify, analyze, and document defects and work with the development team to resolve them




- Continuously improve the automation processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in automation testing
- Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in automation testing and incorporate them into the team's practices

Key Skills

- Strong proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Appium)
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Excellent knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#
- Robust understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
- Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in automation testing, with at least 3 years in a team handling role
- Extensive experience in a SaaS-based environment
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) are a plus
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
