Solar Project Manager (Rooftop & MW Commercial Solar)

We are seeking an experienced Solar Project Manager with expertise in rooftop solar installations and MW-scale commercial & industrial (C&I;) solar projects. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project execution, ensuring timely completion, quality standards, safety compliance, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end execution of rooftop and MW-scale solar projects.

Plan, schedule, monitor, and complete projects within budget and timelines.

Coordinate with clients, EPC teams, vendors, consultants, and government authorities.

Conduct site surveys, feasibility studies, and technical evaluations.

Oversee engineering, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning.

Ensure compliance with DISCOM, CEIG, and statutory regulations.

Monitor project quality, safety (EHS), and documentation.

Prepare project schedules, progress reports, and MIS.

Resolve technical and site-related issues efficiently.

Manage subcontractors and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.

Support project handover, client training, and after-sales coordination.





Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

5–15 years of experience in rooftop and MW-scale commercial solar project execution.

Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, HT/LT electrical systems, inverters, transformers, switchgear, and SCADA.

Experience in net metering, CEIG approvals, TANGEDCO/DISCOM coordination, and statutory approvals.

Ability to read electrical drawings, SLDs, and technical specifications.

Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project management tools.

Robust leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience in Commercial & Industrial (C&I;) solar projects.

Knowledge of Open Access and Group Captive solar projects.

Familiarity with safety standards and quality management systems.

Willingness to travel to project sites across Tamil Nadu.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
