We are seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to join our creative team at ColorWhistle. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in WordPress development, a passion for clean, efficient code, and the ability to turn concepts into functional, visually appealing websites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites
- Build custom themes and plugins as per project requirements
- Convert design mockups into responsive WordPress websites
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO
- Work with ACF, Elementor, and other page builders
- Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and project managers
- Perform regular website maintenance and updates
Requirements:
- Minimum 2.5 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development
- Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL
- Experience with custom theme & plugin development
- Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, etc.
- Knowledge of WooCommerce is a plus
- Understanding of website performance, security, and SEO
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and team collaboration skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Git, cPanel, and hosting environments
- Exposure to REST API and third-party integrations
- Knowledge of basic design tools like Figma, Adobe XD
