Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Software Testing Engineer with solid expertise in Automation Testing to join our technology team in Bhubaneswar. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, writing, and executing automated test suites, identifying defects, and ensuring the highest level of software quality before delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Test Automation: Design, build, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for web and mobile applications using tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.

- Test Execution: Execute automated and manual test scripts, analyze test results, and report software bugs/defects clear and concisely.

- API Testing: Conduct functional, reliability, and performance testing for APIs using Postman, REST-Assured, or similar tools.

- Defect Management: Track, manage, and prioritize software issues through resolution using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira).

- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including software developers,



system architects, and product managers to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.

- Continuous Improvement: Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and deployment.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA) with a primary focus on Automation Testing.

- Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript).

- Framework Experience: Practical experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, Cypress, or Playwright.

- API & Database: Strong understanding of API testing (REST/SOAP) and basic SQL queries for database validation.

- Process Knowledge: solid understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes and modern testing methodologies.

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MCA or a related technical field.
