The Sr. Accountant will oversee daily financial operations, ensure compliance with statutory requirements, and support management with accurate cost and financial data. The role requires strong expertise in accounting, costing, taxation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping

- Manage day-to-day accounts operations including sales, purchase, expenses, and general ledger.
- Ensure timely reconciliations of bank, vendor, and customer accounts.
- Maintain fixed assets register and depreciation schedules.
- Handle month-end and year-end closing.

2. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

- Ensure accurate filing of GST, TDS, PF, ESI and other statutory returns.
- Support statutory audit, tax audit, and internal audits.
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act and Accounting Standards.

3. MIS & Financial Reporting

- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports for management.
- Monitor receivables, payables, and working capital.
- Support in preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.




- Present profitability analysis by product, customer, and order.

4. Treasury & Banking

- Manage payments, collections, LC/Bank guarantee, and fund flow.
- Coordinate with banks for loan documentation and credit facilities.
- Ensure optimum utilization of working capital.

6. Team Coordination & Support

- Supervise accounts staff and guide them in routine activities.
- Support management with data for decision-making.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Hands-on experience in Tally ERP / SAP / similar ERP.
- Expertise in GST, TDS, Taxation & Compliance.
- Analytical mindset with ability to prepare meaningful MIS reports.
- Leadership skills for supervising juniors.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
