Roles and Responsibilities:

- Assist in sourcing and purchasing construction materials such as cement, steel, aggregates, electrical and plumbing items, paints, etc.
- Collect quotations and compare rates, terms, and delivery timelines from vendors.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and maintain procurement records.
- Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and stores to understand material requirements.
- Track and follow up on material deliveries and ensure timely receipt at construction sites.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate for better pricing and service terms.
- Resolve issues related to delayed deliveries, material rejections, or invoice mismatches.
- Keep updated records of purchases, pricing, and vendor performance.
- Support the accounts department with purchase-related documentation for billing and payments.




- Monitor stock levels in coordination with storekeepers and suggest reorders accordingly.

Experience, Qualification and Desired skills

- Minimum 2 Years of Experience in a purchasing or procurement role within the construction Industry
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and procurement software/ERP systems (if any).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Good knowledge of common construction materials and their market availability.
- Attention to detail and basic knowledge of inventory control.
- Familiarity with site workflows, BOQs, and vendor billing procedures
