Job Description: Service QC Engineer – Operations & Maintenance (O&M;), Solar Power Plant Department Operations & Maintenance (O&M;) Location Site Location Reports to Assistant Manager Experience Required 1-2 years in Solar PV Plant O&M; Job Purpose The Service QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring the efficient performance of solar power plants by monitoring real-time data, diagnosing complex issues, and coordinating field-level rectification activities. This role includes technical support to field teams, managing escalations, and ensuring timely resolution of faults to minimize plant downtime and maximize performance. Key Responsibilities Monitoring & Analysis: • Ensure installation is carried out as per approved drawings, BOQ, and standards. • Inspect installation of modules, structures, inverters, cables, and earthing systems. • Conduct stage-wise inspections (pre, during, and post-installation). • Monitor real-time plant data using SCADA and other monitoring systems. • Analyze daily generation and maintenance reports from site. • Acknowledge, diagnose, and escalate or resolve SCADA alarms promptly. • Visit site during project execution and monitor construction activities.



Technical Support & Issue Resolution: • Prepare quality checklists and inspection reports. • Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and document preventive actions. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical and communication faults. • Escalate unresolved issues to OEMs. Site Operations & Maintenance: • Conduct site visits, perform visual inspection of key equipment (modules, inverters, LT panel, ACDB, HT panel, etc.). • Coordinate or execute module cleaning schedules and quality checks. • Perform inverter, LT panel checks, insulation resistance tests, and ERT • Support planning and execution of all types of breakdown restorations. Key Skills & Competencies • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills. • Proficiency in using test instruments (IR tester, ERT, thermal camera, multimeter etc.) • Familiarity with SCADA systems and data analysis tools. • Ability to work independently.

Pay: From ₹45,000.00 per month
