Job Description — Project Coordinator (Civil)

Location: Ahmedabad
CTC Range: ₹4.0 LPA – ₹9.0 LPA

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and organized Project Coordinator (Civil) to oversee and coordinate construction and civil engineering projects. The candidate will be responsible for managing site coordination, project schedules, contractor communication, documentation, and ensuring timely project completion while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate day-to-day civil construction project activities.
- Monitor project progress, timelines, and execution at site.
- Liaise with architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Prepare and maintain DPRs, project reports, BOQs, and documentation.
- Track material requirements, procurement status, and site inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and construction standards.
- Conduct regular site visits and project review meetings.
- Resolve project-related issues and coordinate with internal departments.
- Maintain project schedules and ensure timely completion of milestones.
- Support billing, measurement verification, and project handover activities.

Required Skills





- Strong understanding of civil construction processes and site execution.
- Knowledge of BOQ, billing, estimation, and project coordination.
- Good communication and vendor management skills.
- Ability to read construction drawings and technical documents.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project tracking tools.
- Strong planning, coordination, and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of construction safety and quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 2–7 years of experience in civil/construction project coordination.
- Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial projects preferred.
- Knowledge of ERP/project management software is an advantage.
