Chartered Accountant — GST & Indirect Tax

About Us A Delhi-based CA firm established in 1975, working across audit, taxation, corporate law and cross-border advisory. Our clients include IPO-bound companies, MNC subsidiaries, retail and omni-channel businesses, and entities structured across India, the UAE and the UK.

The Role Own GST and indirect-tax compliance and advisory for a portfolio of clients, and support the senior team on litigation and cross-border structuring. Client-facing, reporting to the Managing Partner.

Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end GST compliance — GSTR-1, 3B, 9, 9C — and reconciliations (GSTR-2B, ITC)
- Handle GST registrations, amendments, LUTs, refunds and e-invoicing/e-way bill matters
- Draft replies to departmental notices, SCNs and audit queries; support appeals and litigation
- Advise on classification, place of supply, RCM, ITC eligibility and sector-specific issues
- Support omni-channel and retail GST structuring (marketplace flows, APOB, cross-charge)




- Assist on cross-border indirect-tax matters and transaction structuring
- Keep clients updated on notifications, circulars and case law

Requirements

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI member)
- Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience with a strong indirect-tax focus
- Sound command of the CGST/IGST Acts, rules and recent jurisprudence
- Hands-on with the GST portal and reconciliation/compliance tools
- Robust drafting ability for notice replies and advisory notes
- Able to manage multiple clients independently and meet deadlines
- Litigation exposure and Big 4 / reputed-firm background are strong pluses
