An Accountant manages an organization's financial records, ensuring accuracy, compliance with regulations, and financial health. Key responsibilities include reconciling bank statements, preparing tax returns, auditing financial data, and creating reports (balance sheets, income statements) to guide management decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Financial Recording & Reporting: Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records, including General Ledger entries and, in many cases, payroll.

· Compliance & Tax: Prepare and file quarterly and annual tax documents, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.

· Reconciliation & Audits: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and internal audits to identify inaccuracies or potential risks for fraud.

· Analysis & Budgeting: Analyze financial data to create budgets, forecast trends, and recommend cost-reduction measures.

· Stakeholder Communication: Present financial reports and insights to management, investors, or creditors.





Required Skills & Qualifications:

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.

· Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Xero) and
advanced MS Excel skills.

· Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and integrity.
