Technical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing technical operations, managing maintenance teams, and ensuring all systems and equipment run efficiently—especially in environments like data centers, facilities management, HVAC, or industrial sites.

Here’s a clear breakdown of the role:

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily technical operations (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc.)
- Monitor equipment performance (chillers, AHU, UPS, DG, fire systems)
- Assign tasks to technicians and ensure work completion
- Conduct preventive & corrective maintenance
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions
- Ensure safety standards and compliance (HSE guidelines)
- Maintain logs, reports, and documentation
- Coordinate with vendors and clients

Technical Knowledge Required

- HVAC systems (Chillers, VRF, AHU, FCU)
- Electrical systems (HT/LT panels, transformers, UPS, DG)
- Fire fighting systems (hydrant, sprinkler,



fire alarms)
- BMS (Building Management System)
- Basic plumbing and utility systems

Team Management

- Handle technicians, operators, and helpers
- Schedule shifts (day/night rotation if required)
- Provide training and guidance to team members

Reporting & Documentation

- Daily/weekly maintenance reports
- Incident reports and breakdown analysis
- Energy consumption tracking (especially in data centers)
