Summary
As a Custom Software Engineer specializing in EMS Solace and Google Pub/Sub, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise messaging solutions that enable reliable communication between distributed applications and systems. The role requires strong expertise in event-driven architecture, messaging platforms, and cloud-based integration patterns to build scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.
The engineer will work with modern messaging frameworks, troubleshoot message flows, optimize system performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions aligned with business requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and collaborate with teams to ensure effective execution and delivery.
2. Own technical decisions related to messaging architecture, design, and implementation.
3. Collaborate with multiple teams and contribute to key architectural and design decisions.
4. Provide solutions for complex messaging and integration challenges across enterprise systems.
5. Design, develop, configure,



and maintain EMS Solace-based messaging solutions and integrations.
6. Support migration, integration, and implementation activities involving Google Pub/Sub and other cloud messaging platforms.
7. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance system reliability, performance, and delivery efficiency.
8. Mentor junior team members on messaging concepts, troubleshooting techniques, and industry best practices.
9. Coordinate with application, infrastructure, and cloud teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Professional & Technical Skills:
1. Must-have skill: Strong proficiency in Google Pub/Sub.
2. Extensive experience with EMS Solace (Solace PubSub+), messaging systems, and event-driven architecture.
3. Hands-on experience with message queues, topics, publishers, subscribers, and messaging integration patterns.
4. Ability to design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure messaging solutions.
5. Knowledge of cloud-based messaging services and hybrid integration architectures.
6. Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
7. Experience troubleshooting message delivery issues, analyzing system performance, and ensuring high availability.
8. Experience with API integrations, distributed systems, and enterprise application communication patterns.

Additional Information:
1. The candidate should have a minimum of 6 years of experience in EMS Solace.
2. This position is based at the Hyderabad office.
3. A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required.
