We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with hands-on experience in Tally and accounting software to join our agile team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial record maintenance, and day-to-day bookkeeping operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial record keeping
- Handle accounts payable/receivable, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, and vouchers systematically.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, and other filings.
- Support audits by providing relevant data and documentation.
- Monitor cash flow, expense reports, and budget utilization.
- Collaborate with the management team to provide financial insights and reports.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial data and ensure data accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Tally and accounting software is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience in GST filing, invoice management, and reconciliation.
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
Nice to Have (Advantages):
- Experience in payroll processing and financial statement preparation.
- Familiarity with Excel-based reporting and data analysis.
- Knowledge of ERP or cloud-based accounting tools.
