Job Summary

Annai College is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Assistant Professor in Physiotherapy to join its academic team. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching, supervise clinical training, engage in research and scholarly activities, mentor students, and contribute to the academic and administrative functions of the department.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate Physiotherapy courses through lectures, practical sessions, seminars, and clinical demonstrations.
- Develop lesson plans, course materials, and assessment tools in accordance with the university curriculum.
- Supervise students during clinical postings and internships.
- Evaluate student performance through examinations, assignments, and practical assessments.
- Mentor and guide students in academic, research, and professional development activities.
- Participate in research projects, publish scholarly articles, and present at conferences.
- Organize workshops, seminars, continuing education programs,



and community outreach activities.
- Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and other institutional responsibilities.
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy (BPT) from a recognized university.
- Master's Degree in Physiotherapy (MPT) in the relevant specialty with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) from a recognized university.
- Strong communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills.Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in curriculum development and academic administration.
