About the Role
Vedanta Public School is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and student-focused English Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create an engaging classroom environment that develops students’ reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English Language and Literature effectively using interactive teaching methods.
- Prepare and deliver well-structured lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
- Assess student performance through classwork, assignments, projects, and examinations.
- Provide constructive feedback and support students’ academic growth.
- Encourage reading, creative writing, public speaking, and language development activities.
- Maintain accurate academic records and timely documentation.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and participate in school meetings, training sessions, and events.
- Communicate professionally with parents regarding students’ progress and development.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in English or a related field.
- B.Ed. is Preferred.
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with digital teaching tools.
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge and communication skills are welcome to apply. Experienced candidates will be given preference.
