Roles & Responsibility

Role Objective

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Imports Operations executive to manage and execute end-to-end import operations. The role involves coordination with external partners such as brands, freight forwarders, and customs clearing agents, as well as internal teams to ensure timely and compliant movement of goods. The ideal candidate will also maintain thorough documentation and generate MIS reports to support business operations.

Roles and responsibilities

External Coordination:

- Liaise with international brands, freight forwarders, and customs clearing agents to track and manage incoming shipments.
- Ensure adherence to import regulations and timely clearance of goods at ports.

Internal Coordination:

- Work closely with the warehouse team for receipt of goods and inventory updates.




- Coordinate with the business team for order alignment and delivery planning.
- Partner with the finance team for timely processing of import-related payments and documentation.

Documentation & Compliance:

- Handle all import-related documents including invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, and bill of entries.
- Maintain a digital and physical repository of all import documentation in line with audit requirements.

MIS & Reporting:

- Prepare and maintain reports on shipment status, delays, clearance timelines, and landed costs.
- Use Excel and other tools to track imports and generate actionable insights for the business.

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications

- Strong written and verbal communication skills to manage multiple external and internal stakeholders.

- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.

- Prior experience (3–5 years) in import & export operations, logistics, or supply chain roles.
