Responsibilities

- DevOps Engineer in a team of highly skilled Cloud Administrators and Developers.
- Play a critical role in a team to design, implement, and deploy a Cloud based enterprise solutions.
- Implement automation in SDLC wherever possible to improve the time to market and reduce chances of error.
- Administer and oversee the automation and take corrective actions to improve systems and prevent repeat of same issues.

Required Skill Set and Experience

- 3+ years of cloud experience in designing, maintaining, and administrating production environment of large applications.
- Experience in implementing complex deployment using AWS CloudFormation, Chef, Puppet, Ansible etc.

Must have :

- Hands-on experience in AWS Cloud Administration using AWS Console and CLI.




- Hands-on experience in AWS DevOps services - Code Pipeline, Code Deploy and Code Build etc.
- Positive knowledge of at least 2 Infrastructure Automation Tools e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet etc.
- Good knowledge of GIT repositories and other source code repositories.
- Good knowledge of at least 1 CICD tool e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI etc.
- Hands-on experience in containerization and EKS/Kubernetes cluster.
- Hands-on experience in Bash, PowerShell scripting.
- Hands-on experience in Linux and Windows administration.
- Hands-on experience in setting up monitoring and alert notification with various tools – CloudWatch, Prometheus etc.
- Knowledge of Python and AWS Boto is an added advantage.

Good to have:

- Exposure in AWS services such as Elasticsearch, ElastiCache, DynamoDB, Aurora, Kinesis, Lambda etc.
- Exposure in various Databases – MySQL, Aurora, MongoDB cluster administration etc.
- Previous experience in handling an IoT application.
- Ability in using a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools.
- Ability to code and script.
- Strong grasp of automation tools.
- AWS cloud certification.
