Job Description:

Job Title: Deputy Manager – Privacy

- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the organization's privacy program in compliance with the DPDP Act, GDPR, and other applicable data protection laws.
- Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), and privacy risk assessments for business processes and projects.
- Maintain Records of Processing Activities (RoPA), data inventories, and data flow mapping across the organization.
- Develop, review, and update privacy policies, procedures, notices, consent mechanisms, and privacy governance documentation.
- Review and negotiate Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), privacy clauses, and other legal agreements in collaboration with the Legal team.
- Manage data subject rights requests, consent management, grievance handling,



and regulatory compliance obligations within defined SLAs.
- Conduct third-party/vendor privacy assessments and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory privacy requirements.
- Coordinate personal data breach investigations, support incident response, and facilitate regulatory reporting and remediation activities.
- Deliver privacy awareness programs, training sessions, and guidance to employees and stakeholders on privacy best practices.
- Collaborate with Legal, Information Security, IT, HR, Procurement, and business teams to support audits, ensure Privacy by Design, and drive continuous privacy compliance and governance improvements.

Certifications (Preferred)

One or more of:

- IAPP Certified Information Privacy Skilled (CIPP/E, CIPP/A)
- Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT)
- ISO/IEC 27701 Lead Implementer
