Job Details

The role is responsible for,

- Understanding the RFQ & Technical specification and ensure all the documents are received as per design requirements (for Special Purpose Machines(SPM)). Communicate with respective stake-holders (incl. customer) to get the necessary inputs for design completion

- Concept design with Poka yoke list discussion mechanical design. Arrival for control system architecture

- All control elements selection along with calculation, prepare the BOM and release the indent (purchase request) to purchase team

- Estimation of project costing based on BOM and related discussion with technical sales team

- CE elements list as document preparation for 3D placement along with mechanical designer.

- Cycle time chart check with Mech., team and update.

- Panel GA and HMI panel layout preparation by using AUTOCAD software

- Documentation for calculations to be done viz. power calculation, servo sizing, light curtain distance, etc.,

- DFMEA & Risk assessment document preparation along with mechanical designer

- DAP document preparation

- DAP with customer and MoM document need to be prepared and open points to be closed as per MoM.

- Programming document preparation which explains the programming sequence/machine SOP and explanation to programming team. Should have knowledge on PLC programming (Hands-on PLC/PC/SCADA in SPMs will be added advantage)





- Electrical circuit preparation and hand over to electrical assembly team

- Machine ballooning, manual and spare list preparation.

- Handle meeting and support internal teams for timely execution of the tasks (eg. Electrical assembly/testing team, programming team) w.r.t design function

- Handle discussions/meetings related to any technical subject related to project from CE design function

- On time support to Field teams/Customer during FAT & SAT

Education

- B.E./Diploma in – EEE, ECE, E&I; and Mechatronics

- 5-10 years of experience in Machine Building and Automation Field

- Knowledge about electrical diagrams, product manuals, machine manuals

- Knowledge about controls elements selection

- Electrical Controls Design.
