About the Role
Podium Systems is looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to manage and grow our General Trade business in Pune. The ideal candidate will have experience handling distributors, dealers, and retailers while driving business growth and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage distributor and dealer networks.
- Drive primary and secondary sales within the assigned territory.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners.
- Monitor sales performance and achieve monthly sales targets.
- Conduct market visits and analyze competitor activities.
- Support channel partners with product knowledge and sales initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
Required Qualifications
- MBA or Graduate in any discipline.
- 2–6 years of experience in General Trade or Channel Sales.
- Experience in Distributor and Dealer Management.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Preferred Industry Experience
Consumer Durables, Home Appliances, Electrical Products, Water Purifiers, Water Heaters, FMCG, Building Materials, Paints, or similar industries.
