JOB DESCRIPTION – PHARMACIST (FRESHER)
Organization: Mindport Carevilla
Location: Sreekaryam, Thiruvananthapuram

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Pharmacist (Fresher) to join our healthcare team at Mindport Carevilla. The candidate will support protected and effective medication management, ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, and assist in delivering high-quality patient care in a psychiatric residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Accurately dispense medications as per valid prescriptions.
- Maintain proper records, registers, and documentation as per regulatory requirements.
- Ensure safe storage, handling, and inventory management of medicines.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or expiry issues.
- Assist in procurement and proper maintenance of pharmacy supplies.
- Provide basic medication guidance to patients under supervision.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for patient care.
- Follow all legal and ethical pharmacy practices, including handling of scheduled drugs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area.




- Participate in training, audits, and quality improvement activities.

Eligibility Criteria:

- B.Pharm (Mandatory)
- Valid Pharmacy Council Registration (Mandatory)
- Freshers are welcome to apply

Skills Required:

- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills (Malayalam & English preferred)
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to work in a team
- Ethical and responsible attitude

Preferred:

- Interest or exposure in psychiatric/clinical pharmacy
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a healthcare environment

- Rotational shifts (including night duty if required)
