Job Description – Lab Assistant (Physics)

Position:- Lab Assistant – Physics

Key Responsibilities

- Assist faculty in conducting undergraduate and postgraduate Physics laboratory sessions.
- Prepare laboratory experiments, apparatus, and demonstration setups.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Maintain laboratory inventory, chemicals, glassware, and experimental records.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety procedures and standard operating practices.
- Support students in conducting experiments and research activities.
- Coordinate maintenance and procurement of laboratory equipment.

Eligibility

- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Physics (M.Sc. preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in Physics laboratories, educational institutions, or research laboratories.
- Working knowledge of laboratory instruments, calibration techniques, safety protocols, and documentation.
