Job Title: Advocate

Srivastava & Company Advocates is seeking a dedicated and motivated Advocate to join our litigation team in Odisha. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in handling matters under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act and Section 25(C), with the ability to independently manage court proceedings and related legal work.

Key Responsibilities

- Represent clients before courts and other judicial forums.
- Handle matters relating to Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.
- Manage cases under Section 25(C).
- Draft legal notices, pleadings, applications, affidavits, and other legal documents.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams regarding case updates.
- Ensure timely appearances and effective case management.
- Conduct legal research as and when required.

Qualifications

- LL.B. from a recognized university.
- Enrolled with the Bar Council.
- 6 months to 1 year of litigation experience.
- Prior experience in Section 138 NI Act and Section 25(C) matters is mandatory.
- Solid drafting,



communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple matters efficiently.
