Position: Physical Education (PE) Teacher

Department: Sports / Physical Education

Reporting To: Principal / Academic Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

Plan and conduct engaging Physical Education lessons for primary and secondary students.

Develop students' physical fitness, motor skills, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.

Organize warm-up, fitness drills, games, and sports activities suitable for different age groups.

Teach the rules, techniques, and safety measures of various indoor and outdoor sports.

Assess students' performance and maintain records of progress.

Ensure student safety by following school safety protocols during all activities.

Prepare lesson plans, worksheets (if required), and assessment records.

Organize inter-house competitions, annual sports day, and other sporting events.

Identify and encourage talented students to participate in competitions.

Maintain sports equipment and report damaged or missing items.

Supervise students during PE periods, assemblies, field trips, and other school events as assigned.

Collaborate with teachers and parents to promote students' overall well-being.

Participate in staff meetings,



career development programmes, and school activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or Master's degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.).

B.Ed. is preferred (as per school requirements).

Relevant teaching experience in a school setting is preferred.

Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Ability to motivate and engage students of different age groups.

Leadership, teamwork, and organisational skills.

Knowledge of first aid and basic sports injury management.

Proficiency in maintaining digital records and using educational technology.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
