Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs aligned with business requirements.
- Implement secure authentication and authorisation using JWT.
- Manage and optimise MySQL databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Integrate AWS S3 for efficient asset storage and retrieval.
- Utilise Apache Kafka for reliable messaging across microservices.
- Implement Redis caching strategies to enhance system performance.
- Design, build, and maintain microservices-based architectures.
- Perform thorough testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Oversee deployment processes ensuring seamless CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Prepare and maintain explicit API documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers and DevOps.

Qualifications and Requirements





- 4-5 years of professional experience in backend development.
- Proficiency in Java programming.
- Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Security (JWT), Spring Data JPA, Kafka, and Redis.
- Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs; familiarity with Swagger documentation.
- Strong understanding of JWT-based authentication and authorisation.
- Hands-on experience with MySQL database design and management.
- Familiarity with AWS services such as S3 and RDS.
- Solid knowledge of core data structures (Lists, Maps, Sets).
- Experience developing microservice architectures.
- Proficient with build tools (Maven/Gradle), version control (Git), and testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
